Liberte'

This is a very important piece for me for several reasons. She is named Liberte' the french word for freedom. She is standing in honor of my freedom as an artist in at last creating what sings from my heart and to begin the journey sculptures that I have wished to create for 2 yrs. now and I finally feel that I have grown in my abilities and am ready as a sculptor to present my work that is true to myself. She stands taller than the others- a full 14.5" not including her base (her base in another 1.5") and she is in full celebration of the exquisite human form in all it's power, grace and beauty. Every bit of her is carefully and lovingly molded and carved with my hands to create a piece that emulates marble. She has taken nearly 80 hrs. to create. She also is born to ebay on a night in which we artists celebrate the union of fellow creators in coming together to defeat a bill though may have been well intended but was so poorly written that our freedoms and liberties in expressing ourselves were threatened to be darkened forever.

I dedicate this piece to my fellow artists on deviant Art who have been ever so supportive of my true heart work.

An OOAK original sculpture. She stands 16" tall including her marble base. She is made from paper clay which is in itself very strong and she as well has a wire armature. Photos up tomorrow as she is almost finished.

Fleurs Nouveau

A change for me on where I have been intending to head toward all along. More in the sculpture range. Fleurs Nouveau, a wood nymph in the feeling of the nouveau styling. This piece is again paperclay with only dusting of color on her flowers. SOLD

Male Ballet Dancer

The grace and power of male ballet dancers is such a precarious balance. I love this pose and the movement it insinuates. He has red harem pants and like the rest is up on ebay for sale. He is fully anatomically correct and though I made the harem pants for ebay's modesty they are removable because I think he's best showing the beauty of the human body in full. SOLD

Winter Dance

An OOAK paperclay doll with mohair for her locks and her dress of silk and crystals. Very happy with this gal. Think my work is beginning to get where I want it to be :) First pic is of her finished and the rest are of her before she is dressed. I just wanted to show her body off before she gets modest. I actually prefer the pre doll stage when they are simple sculptures. SOLD

Geisha Noirceur (darkness)

I have taken more time with this one and hopefully it shows. Oh how I love the grace of the human form (said that one before :) This gal will be sort of a goth Geisha. This is just a pic of her quite raw and one of her complete without her display. Finally a pic of her with full display. SOLD

Black and White

Another dance pose. I love the grace and the movement of dancers. This one is sort of a mix between Cabaret and Ballet. She is paperclay with a dress of hand dyed silk, ribbon and lace with mohair for her locks. She stands 14" tall with her base. SOLD

The Snow Queen

My latest--still feeling winter and now we have had our first dusting of the white magic. I was inspired by this pose from the London Ballet of The Snow Queen. She's paperclay over armature with glass beads, vintage lace, feathers and silk with mohair for her white locks. She stands 13" including her base. SOLD

Scarlet Dancer

I fell in love with this pose and added the chrysanthemum and dress to emphasize the subtle drama of the gentle movement. This is a paperclay OOAK doll with silk and mohair. SOLD
